Licence agreement
What you get when you buy a licence, and the handful of things you agree not to do with it.
Last updated 1 Sept 2026
1. What you are buying
You are buying a perpetual licence to use one application at the major version current when you bought it. You are not buying the software itself, and copyright stays with Navid Mirzaaghazadeh.
The licence does not expire. If the store closes tomorrow, the copy on your Mac keeps working.
2. Activations
Each licence tier states how many Macs it covers. A Personal licence typically covers two, Family covers five or six, Business covers twenty or more; the app page you bought from is authoritative.
- Activations are yours to move. Deactivate a Mac from your licences page and the seat frees up immediately.
- A Family licence covers the people in one household. A Business licence covers named employees of one organisation.
3. Updates
Every update within the major version you bought is included and free — bug fixes, new features, and compatibility with new versions of macOS. The next major version is a new purchase, usually at an upgrade price for existing licence holders.
4. What you agree not to do
- Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
- Circumvent activation, or use a key on more Macs than the tier allows.
- Decompile or reverse-engineer the software, except where local law says you may regardless of this agreement.
A key found published publicly is revoked. If that key was yours and it leaked, say so and it gets replaced.
5. Refunds
Fourteen days, no questions asked. See the refund policy for how it works. A refunded order revokes the keys it issued.
6. Privacy
The apps do not phone home. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no account needed to run them. Activation checks a key against the licence server and sends nothing else. The store keeps your email, billing details and order history because tax law requires it.
7. Warranty and liability
The software is provided as it is. It is small software written carefully by one person, not life-support equipment. Liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Getting in touch
Questions about this agreement go to [email protected]. A reply usually arrives within a business day.
This is template wording written alongside a mock storefront. Have a solicitor read it before you take real money against it.
